Very impressive, I spent approx 7 months on bringing down the Westpac tower by the Holiday Inn/Grand Chancellor on Cashel and High sts.
We had a 250 ton Smiths crane lowering the floor slabs, lift core and pillars down...was very similar so i'm assuming the buildings were of the same structure.

I take my hat off to the blokes that do these jobs.
I was told, that when the 3 ton digger on the top of this building is operating, the whole structure shakes. (fark that! :shock: ) On top of dealing with after shocks, the last one being in the weekend.
You'd think a wrecking ball would be safer but they ban using them ages ago..

I'll be taking some more video once the big long reach crusher arm starts operating.
