South Head from a Newbie

Postby mike77 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:05 pm

What a great trip, Kaipara south head through the (along the beach).
Had a good time the whole day, kids were off in the dunes sand boarding.

Lookin down from top of the bowel

Wicked view

All was going good, until late in the day, a stall on one of the (along the beach) ....... Nek minute broken cambelt. Tow to Parakai, and lift for me and the kids and pick up the wagon the next day.
Thanks everyone if your reading this - all absolute lifesavers and good bugga's. Will catch up next month if not before.

Had the boys film some video, but it's too big to fit. Just imagine 2 boys squealing just like their sister.

Yeah it is great out there especially in the bowl area, and drop off it is a nice little area to drive around, bummer about your truck hope you get it going soon.

Cheers.

Yeah just one of those things, upon inspection, it wasn't the original belt, so it had been replaced in the past, and wasn't due.

Just a bugga,

Oh well never mind, thems the breaks. Was a brillient day!

I think this is just the excuss the misus needs to buy a dedicated wagon (once the boat sells!)
