Te Aroha side is like a highway, drove straight up there in a stock safari with A/T's on Sunday low 3rd and 4th gear all the way except for a couple of stream/drain crossings and the playground at the top.

Bit of rain in the last month, current condition any different? (TeAroha side) And are they still logging on the loop track?

Cheers,
Clive

Te Aroha side is a nice ezy drive . I left it in 2wd all the way up to keep it interesting (except for the playgrounds off the main track) . That slip half way up gives me the shits tho cos I offten take my family when I go up there . Good place to picknick up there

Sweet. Trying to get the club to do a shiny/family run up that side. So hopefully another month of crap winter weather and it should be a bit more interesting. Havent been up for years and did my first real off road run up there so be good to go back up for a look
