Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone know's of any good tracks up near Mangwhai / Te-arii etc? ... that general region?
Any information would be appreciated.

There's no real tracks round there, apart from unformed roads. but a lose of those are just tame farm roads, and farmers probably wouldn't be too keen on you driving over 'their' roads.
And I think a lot of te Arai is Maori land? I doubt they'll be too happy with having 4wds around.
My Dad has a farm in Kaiwaka, so keep an eye out on here for any upcoming trips there

a lot of the forestry is now being patrolled daily by rangers. some do issue permits etc so go and ask first.
