Postby nztim » Tue Jul 03, 2012 4:13 pm

Hey,

Im new to 4wd and looking for some tracks close to home and wondering if anyone knew of any tracks in bulls? or wanganui...

I found what looks like one on google earth at

40° 7'35.84"S 175°26'29.50"E
(copy and paste these coord. into search)

Is this a track??

Keen to know of tracks in my region.

Cheers

fusilier road off Sandtoft road, via Raumai road they are logging in there on the 30 road at the mo and there's a digger cleaning out drains, but apart from that if you use the seldom seen tracks you can pretty much get anywhere from the rangitikei to turikina rivers.

I would recommend contacting the Levin 4x4 club they should sort you out. I don't get the impression they do shiny trips.

yeah, public access

also that track you have at those coordinates is the road used by the dump trucks at rangitikei aggregates. private
