Old man range

Can anyone give me details of access points and tracks we are heading to cromwell anzac weekend ,maps,links,advise

Waikaia Bush Road, Symes Road or Nevis Road (Duffers Saddle) are the main access points. From memory the Duffers Saddle end crosses station land which you should get permission for, but this may have been overtaken by tenure review.

I imagine it is pretty white at the moment.

Actually, looking closer at that map, a few of the tracks we would drive are now showing as walking /MTB.

Can go up Whitecombe road from Piano Flat i think it is. Thats a good drive.

Cheers guys hopefully the snow melts and leaves a bit of mud after a long dry summer
Any idea how much fell up there

fair bit of snow fell im about 20 minutes away from the piano flat entrance by waikaia and the hills up there are still nice and white. im also pretty sure the entrance gets locked up towards the end of march until october. but dont quote me n it.
l200 with not a straight panel on it

Gates are now controlled by otago district council and are closed tue after queens bday till sept 30

No. Symes road runs from fruitlands to the obelisk whichis where the repeater is and is public road, graded maybe once a year.
