Advice about woodpile track

Postby crispo » Wed Apr 29, 2015 8:19 pm

Hi all, I'm sure this has been talked about before but I just can't seem to find it anywhere.
I am a beginner offroader and keen to give my recently purchased hilux a go offroad, i have heard about the orange track at woodhill.
How does this work, do you have to be a member of a club or can you just go anytime? is there a fee?
Sorry if there is already a post about this matter, I found a little bit but not really what I want to know, I am located in Papakura so if there is anywhere closer that some one knows that would be great.
:D

Woodhill is a off road park out kumeu for anyone.
You just turn up, pay the fee $40 I think and go hard.

and there lies the problem.

Fee is more like $60.00 and since everyone "goes hard" the tracks get ripped up and place gets shut down for several months while repair work is undertaken.

Oh well.
Its open to the public, you pay a fee, that's what its there for

Join a club, most clubs get access to places you otherwise would never get to go
