At the CZ meeting, it was resolved that the digger hire and diesel etc would be undewritten by them, Central Zone NZ4WDA.

Kiwi4x4 is going in Whanga Road from the Whangamonona end, clearing at least one small slip and filling in some holes of varying sizes.

This trip IS an officially sanctioned one by Kiwi4x4 and therefore will attract a small fee for insurance purpose, SMALL SMALL fee. It HAS to be done this way, although, yes, it IS a public road, we must provide insurance cover for our trip leader, and the farmers on adjoining properties.

We, Nick and I, have been in contact with WRAG and have their complete support.
Bill Westin, (name???) the farmer who runs Aotuhia Station is supplying a shot-firer and a 20T digger to manage the big slip.

Well done guys and others for the organising. Hope all goes well and one day, hell i might even get the time and moey together to actually GO on a trip.
Please, God, are you listening?

normal Kiwi4x4 Assn visitor fee for non NZ4WDA members is $5 per day and covers your day insurance, all NZ4WDA members do not need to pay this fee.

I will be riding up with Reece on Friday (no point getting mileage on the shiny and the POS is still in bits).

The invite to join us for the other local clubs (and its members if they wish to join us) is still open. would be nice to see you there for the good of the road.
