haha yea i was navy in safari petes 40 when it caught a blaze. luckily he had fire extinguisher in a handy spot.

Sounds like fun, is it do-able in a 2wd hilux?!!?
Got a Daihatsu Something, hasn't got a Daihatsu engine.... or diffs.... and it doesn't have windows.... or doors.... but its got tyres.... :)

have just read that woodpecker forest has just recently been closed for all 4x4 unfortunately. will still go down to the ashurst river. let me know who is going to come along 8)

Ummm, I think the Ashurst river might be out of the question also. Drove down and had a look on my way home 45 mins ago, and she is up pretty high.

My truck's horrifically out of order :(. I would imagine the river is mighty high though, been some nasty rain the past couple of days
