Sunday 3rd April trip into Tararua's

Postby wisard2 » Tue Mar 29, 2011 7:38 pm

I am going into the Tararua's this coming Sunday, for the day to check out the condition of the tracks and the hut.

I will also probably do the "Loop Track" which is in most places pretty hard core.

If anyone wants to come along, they will need a reasonably capable vehicle, preferably with decent tyres and winch.

As I will be accessing this area through Private property, I won't be taking any more than 5 vehicles max, including mine.

If anyone is interested in coming along, bearing in mind that this is NOT a shiny trip, then PM me as it is first in best dressed.

The area I am going into is; http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/ ... &sk=t&sd=a
and is in the same area I took a trip into a couple years back with Dace, Crispy/Mark, Tony Nizfari/Curly etc.

If interested in coming along, PM me for times, meeting place in Otaki etc.

At this stage 2 of the spots are taken, so only room for 2 more vehicles. Its first in, first served, so if you have a capable vehicle and are keen, PM me for further details.

I second that :D Awsome trip, and the loop track, well, it did some damage :!: Busted lights cut tyres, tubes with ripped out valves, busted bullbars, trees jumping through windscreens, Warn winches that decided to have a cuppa tea and a lie down, panel damage, not a shiney trip. Big heads up to Wizard farken awsome :)
