A couple of mates and I are thinking of exploring the rakaia above lake Coleridge next weekend. May just be easy dirt roads and river bed but pretty keen to check out the huts up there if you'd like to come along.
CHANGED TEAMS: 92 Nissan Terrano for fishing and touring, stock for now... slight tweaking (31" mt, snorkel, hooks) to come.

Coming soon... Vitara on silverstones

Yea thats a good trip!! I went right up to a hut in the mountains and had a blast!! Cost $10 per person for the Key to the gate as its private land.

I will see if I can find a few pictures.....

Either that or may head up to lees valley and have a wee look around. Went up there a month back but would like to explore a little more.

Try the Ashley north bank up from Dunlop's Rd. NC4WD had 14 trucks up to the Ohuku last weekend. Good water flow in the river and side tracks were changeling with 33's. I might be up there Sunday clearing trees. Nig
