Macetown trip between 27th & New Years

Postby Finn68 » Wed Dec 25, 2013 10:40 am

Planning on doing an overnighter to Macetown. First time up there so I'm keen to get some local knowledge on current conditions or better yet, tag along with if anyone else is planning on heading up.

Had a peak yesterday and it looks fantastic.

Cheers, Aaron

Had a trip up there on wed night as our longest day trip.. was awesome.. Just keep to tracks and at the dam, take the left and go the low road if you want some interesting wheeling.. not reel hard.. but if you don't watch what ya doing you come unstuck
River levels were nice and low unless we get a LOT of rain it'll be sweet. Grass up at MT is awesome not dry and should be great for camping as it's not as hot as it could get.. There could be quite a few people up there so should be great..
Sing out as I might come up for a burn to de-coke   my truck.. Had too  lol

Thanks guys. Ok we're going to head up on the 28th. We'll be at the entrance around 11 if anyone is keen.
