Choke on the smoke racing

Postby Jungle » Wed Aug 03, 2011 9:21 am

Has anyone had a bad experience with this company? I'm just hearing comments now about people bringing their 4wds to Rotorua to have lexus conversions done and the work is not complete, exisiting engines sold and then having the vehicle stolen whilst in transit. They also keep the 13K or so that is paid up front. Also found this on the web. http://katoa-stolencar.blogspot.com/201 ... smoke.html
Might wanna be careful around this guy!
Cheers
George

Hey, I don't think it's right you should come on here and and trash a company's reputation based on what you've 'heard' or read on the internet.

I've dealt with this company many a time and have only good things to say about them. I've had them do various big jobs on my Toyota V8 since 2007 and every time the job has been done exactly as requested.

DJ have messaged you geoffs number - the home number above is his partners.

hes built quite a few cars for mates of mine and no one i know has ever had a issue with anything one of them actually worked for geoff and said theres never been any cars stolen or go missing from there including the one in that blog post which he also worked on said it never got stolen or went missing , did say he got into a bit of debt with overheads running the business tho but hardly worth being slagged out about on forums, theres a big difference between that and ripping people off

that is classic. both joined same day as posts and no posts ever since. this guy must be retarded to think we will believe it is not the owner.

wow what a lot of keyboard warriors on here, i cant see anyone that joined the same day i did but ok if you say so. and actually the post said at the start " has anyone delt with this company?" and i have, but it appears that anyone who sees this post and posts a reply that yes they have delt with this company gets jumped on and accused of being the owner, seriously whats up with that? pretty unfair on people, and actually i came accross it when i was looking for some pics of my car and googled choke, it came up with this forum post, someone wanted geoffs contact numbers so i messaged them to the guy which i couldnt do unless i joined, but now for doing that im a one post wonder, must be the owner which im not and neither is the other guy. also if you google choke it comes up with the other guy you have accused being the owner and the car that choke built for him. Seems a few people really need to grow up a bit and start realising that if you ask a question youl get answers, why ask if anyone who posts an answer is going to be attacked for answering the question.i didnt realise forums were so childish

huntandfish - thanks for backing me up.

I came upon the original post because I too was trying to get hold of Geoff to do some more work for me, and I still am, which is why I've ended back up on this forum. I don't have a 4x4 which is why I don't post here, but I will post if it is to call out some pretty offensive behaviour. Anonymously trashing someones name online is bullshit and gutless.

As for you twats who thought I was Geoff, grow up. I doubt Geoff even uses the net.

huntandfish - could you please message me the number you have for Geoff, thanks.
