Me too, after all, they dont need much to make them a competent offroader,
Say, a bigger engine, transfer box, low ratio, longer travel suspension and solid axles front and rear. Easy!!!
we had a 3 door, I wondered briefly, about giving it a heart/lung transplant with a toyota V6 3 litre, right up till I looked hard at the drive axles.......
