niva steering

what can i get a steering box out of to put in my niva the standard one cant handle the tyres and just gets looser and looser

Nothing bolts straight in.

There have been several adapted (eg Cloggy's http://www.ladaniva.co.uk/baxter/resources/index.htm). There's a Kiwi on lada.co.uk working on an updated version iirc; I forget his name at the mo' sorry, though I think he's on here as well.

I think some people have also adapted 'Zuk ones iirc.

That's what the Fiva has. Fits quite nice, really

This is not something I've done, or even seen, but I believe that it's a relatively straightforward job, with no major difficulties.
How's the one on the FIVA fit?

Ummm.... I had a quick look, and its pretty darn hard to see :lol: .

I was going to take pics of it, but I forgot. And now I'm seperated from it again. :roll: :roll:

No, as above nothing bolts straight in.

See the link I posted, that shows how to put the Cressida 'box in; though bear in mind that it needs to be done differently to get certed here nowadays.
