Just buy this one, is auckland but easy enough to get back home and cheap as chips... Looks like it has even had some taller springs installed... I would have bought it myself had I not already procured one... looks decidedly better than my one!

^ Nah, I think it just has had the arckes cut, makes it look taller.

Oh, clutch master cylinders cost barely anything to be overhauled, and new ones cost a bit over $50 NZ from england (don't quote me on that though!), so don't let the seized clutch put you off that one.

I may also be able to help with viewing, picking up and storage if need be

Sssshhh, get back to playing with your soft playdoh Jerry :P

And vince, springs may be aftermarket if they are blue, the ones in the Fiva are.

Oh, and that twin cam one is icky. The guy admitted to me that it's only really on TM to advertise his exhaust business.
And a 1.6 twin cam is pointless tbh

that was the one that was on tard me a year or two ago but it had 31" or bigger creapy crawlers on it (hence the arch cuts) I am guessing he has sold the wheels and had the car sitting around for a bit, so it sounds like he is saying what is the truth. It looked mean as from memory with the bigger tyres on it.

seems like a good buy.

good to see another person interested in Nivas. soon they will be a rare sight so the more we can save from the scrappys the better.

Is it wrong that I'm half tempted to buy it (assuming it sells near current price, which it won't)? it is in a million times better shape than mine (other than clutch) and has reg on hold.. could conceivably get it road legal again... hmmm

I'm no lada expert but are the front springs meant to be that bowed? looks like it would have sfa up travel.

yep they are all bowed like that.
the front sus doesent have all that much travel to begin with.
can get a bit more by adding some top ball joint spacers, cutting down upper bump stop and removing front sway bar. but dont tell ya wof guy i said so.
they make up for the lack of travel in the front by having heaps of travel in the rear. :)
