Going to be helping out in the pits for Team Taupo. :D Sounds like we'll have Raana, Klembo, the Mullholland Bros & another mate with a newly built class 6 rig in the same tent so there should be no end of fun for the pit crew.

Cheers

Yep we be going. Weekends events will decide if its class 6 or 8       . How much we get done will dictate if the new truck can be certed early next week to make us meet class 6 rules. Either way we will be making the trek from northland on in 13 days time. Bring it on. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Having never been to this before, from a spectators point of view, would I be correct in assuming that the short course runs are better.
Looks like the Friday would be better.

Na man come for the weekend.

BY the end of lap 2 the field is spread round the whole track and with 100+ vehicles coming in and out of the pits etc there is always plenty to see.

Friday avo will be ok, all in practice then 15mins per class qualifyin, it'll be over pretty quick

Class 6. Won't set any records but should be fun!
Looking forward to having a bit of time to check out all the vehicles and spectate from the pits, not just broken down track side.

Looks like the new location will be much better for spectating than the old site, with a good few km of track around the pits all in the open farmland. Rumour has it the track building elves have shaped up a real sweet jump right next to the pits too.

I'm hearing that   . With any luck we will have a shake down run this weekend a spanner check then load up for the trip, hardly ideal, but drive to survive will be the motto for the weekend i feel.

We are marshalling this weekend as well, hopefully for the racers we won't have to do anything! Keep an eye out for 2 white Landcruisers.
