Still, it's an LJ, it deserves to have a suzuki motor in it.

Is currently on farm reg but hopefully be put back to normal passenger vehicle - Will get a WOF then pull it to bits for a tidy up!

Needing to source a LJ80 Grille and also a indicator stalk/Combination switch if anyone has these lying about!

I have LJ80 parts, was holding onto them for UBZ as spares, but if it means another LJ gets put back on the road, then I'm sure we can share our treasure. I have a good grille and a steering column for starters. I even have a full tub you could fit to it.......... PM me if you don't still have my number :D :D

1984 LWB SJ410, thanks to UBZ for bringing it up from Auckland for me. Don't know what to do with it at the moment, the body is pretty buggered.

Well I would be fixing it if I had the gear, but I don't so it will just have to wait for now, I'd love to fix it up and put it back on the road though. It came up from Masterton, apparently the previous owner to the guy I bought it off had used it as a hunting truck. It's last WOF was in 2006, it sure has gone downhill quickly.

Nice that will look super sweet if you get it up an going 8) ,

At least you have a rolling chassis to work with, you could always rip the try off an scrape it then focus on the cleaning up the cab???

Which ever way you go i'll be keen too see your progress.....

Yeah I just haven't decided what to do yet, whether to do it properly and get it road legal, or just make a trailer toy. The chassis is perfect, no rust, it's just the body that is stuffed but I've got no chance of finding a good one, unless someone decides to part out a brand new Farmworker, that would be nice.

Any way what ever you do good luck!!!

Well... there is always the Marauti, practically the same lwb but brand new and made in India. Unable to be road registered as it is not up the the safety standards for a 'new' vehicle. http://www.suzuki.co.nz/Automotive/Farmworker/

found rotting away quietly on a dairy farm. needs a bit of work. oh, and it's had a bale of baleage dropped on the bonnet :? rust isn't too bad, someone's had a good hori at it though, roof's made of corrugated iron. it does go but not all that happy. good toy to mess with while im saving for fixing the surf and cruiser again.

since i got it a couple weeks ago i've washed the cowshit off it, done a RUF swap (had a snapped spring, im too cheap to buy some, had a set of rears from an old one - moved shackle mounts, took a leaf out of each) and made an alloy roof. probably should get it going properly first. and fix that muffler.
