Norwest OHV Club Inc has arranged for a night run at Woodhill Jeep Park on Saturday 13th of October. It is ok for it to be opened to the public. Kick off will be at 6pm and we need to be out of the park before midnight so best to be back at the Lookout by 11pm. Come and enjoy the forest in the dark and do some tracks by night. There will be some unofficial safety/recovery patrols. We can sort out some group leaders with several different grades catered for (from shinny's through to hard core doing some of the 24 hour event tracks). The cost will be $45 a truck. There is a strict zero alcohol policy within the park, so we would like this to be observed. This is a Norwest event so it will be a cash only entry and the correct change would be very much appreciated.
Register your interest by email so we have some idea of numbers.
Post any questions on here so others can be informed of the answers.

Woodhill Night Run Saturday 13th October
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!
Re: Woodhill Night Run Saturday 13th October
Woodhill is a different "animal" in the dark. Big lights aren't essential but an advantage as they stop the trees from "moving"
Come along......the more the merrier

Yip. I have a few replies via e mail. All things being right, we should have a sausage sizzle too for a bit of sustenance before entering the forest.

Yes, dogs are allowed. I'm leaving mine at home as it will be VERY dark and a black dog can vanish real easy.
Weather is perfect for wheeling but not so flash for BBQ.
See ya's there.

Left camera at home so no action Pics. Final truck count was, 58 including 4 patrol members. Everyone got out of the forest by midnight so Roger was happy. i went and lead CRAZYBUSTARD around the park for his first time. Did most of the harder tracks. Had most fun in track 21. Minimal damage, just an inner cv getting real noisy. Woke up this morning to find my clean truck an't so clean anymore
Many Thanks to those that turned out and made it a great event. My thanks go to the Norwest crew for their help and the most thanks go to the Woodhill Jeep Park of hosting us.
