Best seats for a 4wd?

Postby poss682 » Thu Mar 13, 2014 10:35 am

Hi All
I'm looking at upgrading my seats in my Terrano to more bucket style ones but still with a bit of padding, you know the kidney hugging one's ha ha ha.

So I'm after peoples opinion on the Best seats for a 4wd and why?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts

Cheers Pete

They are real comfy and pretty cheap to go with it.

the best seats would come down to personal preference and be determined by the size of your backside and the intended use whether you're looking for soothing comfort or arse rooting wrap around rigid race style seats to fit harnesses for body support and safety :x :D

When I put race seats in my truck I was amazed at how comfortable they were. My truck was not a daily driver but even on the longer weekend trips they were still pretty damn good. I expected the minimal padding to be a real comprimise but I was wrong. Check out seatwarehouse.co.nz. They have heaps to of choice and were great to deal with. Sponsor a small amount of offroad racing to I think (don't quote me).

As said above, your ideal seat is your ideal seat. Make sure you sit in a few before buying.

Agree with that. I ended up trying quite few before getting my current ones.
Now I have trouble getting comfy in anything other than them.

Ive got some Mitsi Libero ones I got for my land cruiser but don't want to use them. You can have them if you want or they will go in the trash.

Not bad condition wise, could do with a clean I guess (dusty shed).
