1993 suzuki samurai.....

hello my friend has a 1993 samurai has a 2 in ironman lift 1 inch shackles 30.5 inch tyres snorkel bull bar
just a few questions
any reason why when accelarating sometimes it would surge ? presume either fuel lines or carb but probley a few other things it could be and would you recomend a carb cleaner that you put in fuel tank
and also how can we stop tyres from rubbing on leaves apart from restriting the wheel lock
also any one made rock sliders for these as i might make him a set !

found out whats wrong
slipping cambelt
and down to 90psi on one cylinder
so off with head for a partiel rebuild
also doing extractor and new exsuast
and replacing head gasket and getting it all redone
also carb rebuild so will be like new
help on thr rock sliders would be appreciated
do people weld to chassis or bolt
also some company over seas just bolt it to the sills

Great trucks by the way, super fun off road.

If the truck does not need a WOF and is an off road only truck then plate the frame and weld on the rock sliders, if you need to get a WOF on it then you need to bolt them on is how i understand things, cheers

Welding to the chassis is a cert required job if road legal, bolt on doesn't require cert.
