So today wasn't too hard at work so I got some work done on the zook tonight !

Got the air locker unit swapped into the crown wheel

Drilled and tapped the hole in the head

Fitted it up checked back lash and tooth pattern

Ran the line for the locker line to the sliding collar

Here's some pics I must say that the tre locker instructions are well done and not chinglish at all ! Great supprise !

:D :D :D back at it tonight with the new shocks and the mk3 upper mounting choice the springs become loose on full sag so spring clamps are inorder ! Took the springs out drew round them and took note about the coil placement and made them up drilled a hole and used some 10x1.25 long nuts and was able to extend the bump stops as well all in one hit !

Messed up and installed one ontop of the spring rather than below but it's cold and late and dinner and a shower is calling !
Here's some pics for ya Thursday night !

Hope everyone is smashing out some work and able to hit the tracks before winter is over !

Far out, that's a great price!!!! Not cert-able, but perfect for a trailer queen. I'll bear those in mind for the next build haha, thanks

New tray build at the mo using 75x50 x3 should be plenty strong

Covering in the sides like inner guards as it gets really clogged up with mud and then gets heavy so to help reduce this I'm doing none guards and fix some extra storage ice got a big ass drop box in the back of the tray for strops and recovery gear .

Also future proofing the tray by making space for a winch tray in the back too

Rear crossmember is 65x40 x5mm fully welded and braced back for extra strength

Removed about 200 mm chassis when I removed the old croasmember from the back

Tank is moved to behind the cab now too

Also on the hunt for a 8274 or similar to make the front of the truck complete haha

Had a moment of weakness and sold my 8275 and regret it since !

Even a box of parts will do me for now of 8274 stuff

Nice work. Looks like it should go bloody well. What engine is in that one?

Cheers
