Ok so i got my gasket today and after inspecting it i noticed it doesnt have the "half moon plug" with it which is what i need. It was the left side that i needed and is the right gasket but this half moon thing is really annoying me and i cant figure out i fthe left side even has a half moon on it ...

Sounds alright i havent done any valve cover gaskets but i got a good idea from reading all over the net of what is involved. Although its making me wish it was a 4 cylinder motor instead haha

Thats another thing im wonderimg iis how much knowledge does 1 need to do this kind of a job eg: do injectors and fuel rail need removing and so on

Is that for the half moon on its own or the whole gasket? And am i right if i say i ordered the left hand side gasket for the passenger side bank?
