You could try one of these as were recommended to me by NAC insurance for a valuation for my Defender and by all accounts they do it from pictures........ Indie Assessing – 09 443 3475 Auto-car-Tel - 09 576 1558 Banks valuation - 09 4168950 Max wall - 04 384 8399 Hope this helps....

I recently bought a 2008 130 Defender twin cab from a dealer. I was told by him that it had been serviced by them in readiness before i took ownership. My question's are.... 1) Miles/Km between services..? 2) How long do glow plugs last..? 3) What grade of oil to use and would you change the diff ...

Not on your own, and remember tacks change quickly with a bit of weather on them. So what looked ok in the video might be more of a challenge when you get there. We have a trip that we do as a club here in the Wairarapa that took 14 hrs in August last year, and took 2 1/2 March this year. Crash ...

That looks like a cracking route and from the footage earlier in the thread not too difficult for somebody like me who is fairly new to a bit of off roading.

We got GME MT410G PLB for the club a few years ago. I carry the same unit as well with me. Remember to register them with Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand (RCCNZ). Just a thought could you not cut off the original ones the drill out whats left then buy some threaded bar then cut to size required then lock nut one end with a bit of lock tight.....??
