Swore loudly. Less than 1 inch clearance in the rear b/t inner rubber and chassis. Its a 70 series thing I'm ...

Gidday, I'd say my skills on spanners are more a hindrance than a help but I can take on wiring. Done a cruiser -> chev LT1 conversion recently, before that dropped a 5EFE into a carby starlet, and done full looms for a few rally cars. Loom splicing a specialty... Certainly available for questions ...

Callum007, With a tranny cooler, my auto BJ74 (stock 4.11s) should move the 37's fine shouldn't it? I'm thinking of widening my stock rims to 10", what sort of backspacing would you recommend? I hear every 2 inches up you should widen track by an inch, so if SOA gives me 6-8" i should go ~3", would ...

Was thinking backspacing of 2.5", sound close? The rims themselve need to be 16.5 and I can only find them in 8.25 ...

Modify existing rims and "add" more beadlock bolts
Hi,
I am looking at bringing in some H1 HMMWV rims [16.5 x 8.25] that have been modded to toyota 6 on 5.5, and they are beadlocker rims but only 8 or 12 bolt.
Is it easy enough to 'add' more bolts to the 36 required for LVV cert?

Lifting a BJ74
Hey fellas, just wondering if anyone could offer some lift advice for my 70 series MWB landcruiser. I'd like to do the odd 4wd weekender type mission, fairly serious mud and I also use it on-road for towing to motorsport events. Talking with a few people who would say an MT/R tyre would give me a ...
