I'd recommend checking if the vehicle was a factory turbo (as was said earlier). Dependant upon the model of Nissan, not all of them had the "T" indicating that they're turbo charged, on the chassis tag.

Unfortunately, where the G/box X/members bolt up to the chassis, the auto one is further back as you've said but the brackets where they bolt on, are welded to the chassis.
