Re: d21 lsd rear diff
righto so for an update i have now installed the h223b lsd in the rear but it pushed the driveshaft 15-20mm forward which pretty much disintegrated my allready worn hanger bearing so im not sure weather to buy a new hanger bearing or make up a new one piece drive shafft has anyone attempted this ??

Re: td27 turbo upgrade
Its the turbo from r50 terranos or R20 intercooled mistrals. Supposedly ball bearing and much stonger than the hitachi turbo on the WD21 diesel. Yet to test this myself. Intercooled electronic pumped diesel mistrals are '97 onward round headlight models. This turbo is particularly suited to if you ...

Re: 91 navara 4x4 ute build
i havnt had much luck sorcing a good lsd c200 and the ones i have are 4.8 to 1 and the ones in the terrano are 5.6 to 1 and lsd plus the h233b has disk breaks so that will improve my breaking abillities as well as slightly lowering my cruizing rpms

Re: d21 lsd rear diff
so apon further research i have found out that the diffs i have at the moment are 4.8 to 1 and the ones from the terrano are 4.6 to 1 so am i right to believe that putting the 4.6 diffs in will lower my rpms at 100kmper hour but therefore make it a tad less torquie?

Re: d21 lsd rear diff
im trying not to need a cert if i can help it,i guess ill have to grind off the extra mounts off terrano lsd and use that one ,atleast i know itl never break,it may be harder for the engine to power being bigger and heavier and the clearance wont be as good but ill just have to get over it

Re: 91 navara 4x4 ute build
The C200 will give MUCH better clearance and is plenty strong if you use a 4-pin centre. 4-pin centre can be found in the front of a V6 WD21 Pathfinder. Factory solid pinion spacer too. Throw a 29 spline lockright in it and you'll be away laughing. so you reckon the front diff head out of the ...

Re: d21 lsd rear diff
REad "lax2wig"s posts on his truck. He started with a C200, replaced it with a big diff, but later mused that he wished he'd kept the c200 rear end , for better clearance. Pretty sure a R200 led centre will bolt in to what you have. I have a very well priced ARB air locker (r200) available if your ...

Re: td27 leaking oil feed to turbo
hi all so the leak turned out to be a cracked alloy adapter between the banjo and the oil filter housing so thats all fixed now ,on a side note after + turboing it and loosing a bit of oil due to the leak i have discovered that it seems to go alot better and boost harder with a half a litre lower ...

Re: INCREASING TURBO BOOST TD27
To gain horsepower, increasing boost (eg. more air) is only part of it. Once you have increased boost, as cheap insurance on motor, install an EGT guage (google "moonlight racing" and check out 60mm guages), then you can tweak fuel up. The more fuel, the more horspower and the higher the exhaust ...

td27 leaking oil feed to turbo

Re: turbo swap!
scooby turbo would be better suited, how ever the later Garrett turbo fitted to the TD27 post 97 is a good unit that will happily push 18 psi all day long. black smoke under load /boost is usually a sign of too much fuel as apposed to not enough air, so i doubt there is anything wrong with the ...
