A while ago I was given an old toyota branded roofrack for the landcruiser. Unfortunately it did not come with the mounting clamps. It's a long shot I know, but just wondering if anyone might have such clamps spare, or any idea where I might be able to buy them... It's an old roof rack, and a 91 lan...

The landcruiser (1hdt) is due for a 200,000km service. Cambelt etc, but was thinking of also having the injectors serviced, big end bearings replaced, performance tune up, possibly fit a pyro guage aswell as secondary oil press and water temp gauges. yea something like that would be ideal, although just looked up their website and looks like even the base model is $800 plus.

am now thinking more along the lines of a tarp and a couple of tent poles, but will see....cheers

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to where i might find an awning or tent type set up that could attach to the rear of an 80 series?
Have got the 80 setup with a bed etc in the back, just want something to go over the rear doors and provide a bit of shelter for cooking/beer drinking etc...???

ended up with just the one truck as my mate had to work so just went up the lower part of the track for a look. all good, bit overgrown to start with, but would want a 2nd truck at least to go any further..
i get wednesdays off at the moment, if anyones up for a mission let me know...
