Re: 94 XJ WOF woes

Steering box mount crack repairs are classed as a repair not a modification. No cert required. Panhard rod bushes or ball joint???? Or do you mean draglink ball joint Ah some good news, would reinforcing it be classed as a modification? I don't want to get it reinforced then find I need to cert for ...

94 XJ WOF woes

Hi Guys,

Just got some news on the XJ failing a WOF on the below.

Panhard rod ball joint naffed
Exhaust manifold leaking - apparently just the gasket
Needs new front rotors and pads
Steering box mount cracked - does this need certing to be welded up?

Re: Red Rocks Poll on Stuff

I'd love to go down to welly with the family one day and go for a drive, this would be a shame if it gets closed off.

I think perhaps it should be patrolled better and come down hard on people who are spoiling the area.

Are there signs every 20m or so saying don't go past this sign etc?

Re: 1991 Terrano

If you look real close, that deal fell through at $1500, and it had a warrant plus rego. Then it was withdrawn from sale yesterday and only got to $900. Last turbo I got was $31 plus freight, and got a injection pump from the same guy for $51, combined shipping was $20 = bargains. Glad I'm not ...

Re: 1991 Terrano

As i have a permanent search on tardme for Terrano, the last complete engine a saw was $750 (saw a long block, no pump or turbo, didn't sell at $250) plus the body $950-$1250 tops. Forget the wreckers, they're for the desperate Cheers, Permanent search, that is some dedication. I noticed that 2door ...

Could I also get the location for the fuel adjustment and also the idle adjustment, please. This where I draw the line. Re: Terrano problems

Hi, been running with the switch for a couple of days now and say do it if you have not already.

I useually leave teh switch on and turn it off for when I just need to,then right back on again. So no issues for me yet, probably more so how you use it.

Re: Terrano problems

The rev counter thing isn't just the needle drooping and dragging on the dial surface is it? The needles on the older terranos seem to be made out of shit that bends when it gets hot. You can bend them back if you're careful, take the steering wheel surround off, unscrew the plastic cluster ...

Hi All, I have a few annoying issues with my terrano 1991 2.7TD Auto First is the annoying auto lockup. It loves to stay in "5th" when I put my foot down approaching a hill. I've had a XJ Cherokee before and a Isuzu Bighorn, Hilux D/C was happy with ...
