Re: locking up in reverse
NJV6,
you can laugh all you like but since I put the auto hubs on I am using 30% less fuel., it may take a while to sort out the problem but with the fuel prices I don't mind.
I made a mistake with the year it's a 1987 2.5 turbo not 1997

I have just fitted auto hubs to my pajero, But I'm not sure if what I have done is right. When I took off the manual hub cover, Removed the cir-clip but then there where 2 dome head screws that would not allow the auto hubs to be fitted, Not sure what the screws were holding but I removed them ...

Re: INCREASING TURBO BOOST TD27
To gain horsepower, increasing boost (eg. more air) is only part of it. Once you have increased boost, as cheap insurance on motor, install an EGT guage (google "moonlight racing" and check out 60mm guages), then you can tweak fuel up. The more fuel, the more horspower and the higher the exhaust ...

[quote="sibainmud"]Hi there, Boy you come to right place Easiest, is to drill a tiny hole (1.5-2mm) in the rubber tube from the compressor to the waste gate actuator. The relief valve on the manifold blow off at about 14psi, so look for signs of oil here to let you know when you are up to that ...

Re: Top mounted turbo
I wouldn't rely too much on just screwing the fuel up by a turn. Get a pyro guage on it and get it tuned properly IMO Hi Dave M, One of our other members increased the fuel by one turn with a turbo that runs over 10lbs boost and it's been like that for a few years now with no problems, In saying ...

I know there has been a big shake up regarding quality in china, All mechanical items have to be government inspected for quality approval, I think they are trying to lift there game, So the quality of the lockers should be OK
