well if i swapped the gearbox and plug a toyota one, a dual marlin crawler should be a serious upgrade to do. it is very tempting

The other way as you say is find a later Isuzu axle, or maybe find a fixed yoke MUA.

im planning to fit a light truck handbrake drum behind the gearbox due the well knowed poor action in MUs without drum handbrake. Problem is the slip yoke driveshaft there. Then old lines cables could be used as fiddles to command LSD. any help or better idea ??
