Nice looking truck there. Don't see too many Terrano's with a solid front axle :D

Re: Cleaning ORE up, or shutting it down

Haven't been on the site for some time and I have noticed a huge change in the amount of crap posted. I say keep the site, the historical archives are way too valuable to be lost forever. Would be happy to help moderate if required. Have a bit if experience in this area on a big international ...

1990 Hilux 3.0 V6 Petrol

Hi guys,

Am looking at one of these, and just wondering peoples thoughts in general, along with any knowledge of fuel economy, known issues etc? Are they on a par with the 3.0 diesel?

Cheers

Hey Nick,

It's nice hearing about your truck, but could you take a little more time to spell check your posts? The last 2 or 3 were shocking.

Re: Sheffield Mud Plug

Was a great day. Pete, your 40 sounds awesome, even the young fella commented that it sounded like a drag car!!! Saw hulux-happy, Mike, Al, and Smokey in action, and doing pretty well also. Definitely a lot better than last year - mainly due to the weather. Bring on 2009.

Re: Sheffield Mud Plug

$5 is pretty good. I'd be happy to pay $10 or more - it's a great days entertainment, and the kids love it. See you guys out there on Sunday, as a spectatator. I'll try and get some good video also.

A group of people I work with went up there last weekend also. No problems either. I was a little jealous. Maybe we should organise an ORE picnic up there while the weather is still good.

Great post Steve. I would hate to see ORE go down the toilet, after all the hard work thats been put into it. We all have a responsibility to keep this site free of the crap which has been gathering for a while now.

I can't see why we can't still go to the Waipara. We are not doing anything wrong by sticking to the riverbed, however I am happy to go to the Ashley if that's the final decision.

As Philux said, I got mine done at 4WD Upgrades. They did a pretty good job, and it drives REALLY well. I have the Marks's kit inmine, with the original manual 5 speed box. I didn't get anything done to the gearbox though, and it has had a good workout with no problems so far. Just have to watch ...
