So was playing around with a spare set of injectors and one thing I noticed was when the injector was opening, the diesel spray was not coming out of the main nozzle but out of the tiny hole off to the side. Is this normal?, is this how these injectors work?, I cannot find much online about these ...

Yes it is.

I had to do the same after getting sick of no reverse lights when the truck was cold but when warm it was fine.
I had a spare unit and made a good one out of two, I note though that occasionally the beeper stops and the reverse lights don't work, jiggle the lever and it comes right again.

I would assume there would be plenty of mechanics in Hamilton.

Hmm, interesting developments. So I charged the battery and refitted it, run a wire from the positive battery post to the stop solenoid on the fuel pump which clicked. I left the wire on it and turned the key in the ignition......the engine fired into life. I then pulled the wire and the engine died ...

Flattened the battery trying to start the engine, tried a spare on the off chance it had enough charge but it didn't so tried a known good battery and the engine started but it now fails to start. Have fitted good 2nd hand glow plugs (3 originals were knackered), checked voltage at the glow plug ...

So is this only shocks and springs or do you have other parts available?, (need Dana 30 4.1 gears).

Seems I may have to see what transfer case the Cherokee has to determine if the diff has hubs or not?.

Before you start towing, invest in a bigger exhaust system (2.5 or 3 inch) egr delete, bigger turbo and a replacement air filter element wont go amiss.
