On those vans you'd replace the original one with an aftermarket rubber mould and yes it does go on the edge of the windscreen.The trouble is there is a very small surface available for glueing and when the mould is fitted to the windscreen you loose 6mm from that already small surface.Anyone who ...

I took both front and rear off and was suprised how well it still handles onroad but made for noticeable flex on the rear offroad.

Was the new piston put in the right hand side??
Put new ones in mine awhile ago and the pistons were not an exceptional fit and caused sticking,an engineer took a smidge off an no probs since.

I run my Goodyear MTR's (33's) on the SWB Saf at 32psi all round since Rick (4wd Assc) recommended thats as the correct PSI, and have done 30000km's mostly road use on them and they are just over a 1/3 worn.Pretty happy with that. 8)

Had this prob myself and Lwb wont really lift much,have put coil spacers in bout $100 a pair and theve been great.Lifted the back nicely wont sag and stays put.

Yep,Mudbums got a bad one too,freaked me out the 1st time i drove it cause it was standard (not lifted) and i'd never felt :o anything thing like it.You learn to drive around it but id love to get rid of it if i could.

Rubbish to whoever told you the name would be better than the code :? Paint shops mix by computor and the code or name is the same thing however a lot of colours have variance's some upto 5 or 6.Taking a piece of the Saf into a local paint shop will be best however they wont be able to put into a can.

Had this on another vehicle not a Saf, but check ya trans fluid,had lots of issues with mine doing crazy stuff,looked like there was enuf fluid on the dipstick but i put in 500ml more oil and presto all issues dissappered May not be the same thing and im sure fluid would have been the 1st thing u ...
