Whats involved in swapping a 1HDT into a 1991 70 series Prado LWB? is the g/box similar or miles apart, (factory 2,4litre turbo 5 speed)
Whats required to swap one in? Engine mounts from an HZJ75? is there a bell housing adaptor available.

I have got a stock 95 SWB Safari with the factory 4.2 turbo motor, it's a good step up from my old NA one, but I want to get some more grunt out of it, whats the safest max boost you can run on the factory turbo? Was mucking around with putting my safari (95 SWB 4.2 turbo auto) into 4wd tonight and it would go in sweet as, but took me a good five mintues to get it back into two wheel drive tried everything ended up driving around the block and stop and slammed it back into 2WD, it's been abit stiff sometime ...

Hi, Yes my truck is 24 volt, I didn't think any of the Jap ones were 12volt?? (I'm far from an expert on these though!!) It comes with wire and fairled, I can't find the controller at the moment but there is a new one on trade-me going cheap. re an extra battery Im sorry I can't answer that for you ...
