I'm sure I remember seeing two posts on the front of the winch bar, for locating the strop on earlier in the day Hulux-Happy, is there a bit of a story there?

Re: MU 2.8's good or bad?

My older Bighorn has the 2.8 in it, and I agree, great economy, reliable, and peppy little engine, and I'm as slack as, when it comes to oil changes , and it's never given me a problem. I now have a 3.1 Bighorn as well, but it's now the shiney, so I'm sure it will get better treated than the old one ...

Did you go ahead with the purchase of the 94? I've added a 3.1 LWB to my Isuzu family, and it's been great so far, big step up from the 89 model in comfort, hence why I'm not allowed to do mods to this one Even my WOF guy said to my wife that its a really tidy one, don't let Alex near it I should do ...

Well I was prompted by a message from PR that asked if I had moved too Ausi, cos he hadn't heard from us in so long. I told him we were still here, and alive Which prompted me to go out and start the 89 Isuzu (now designated play vehicle) for the first time in about 2 months, and get some photos of ...

The Isuzu Fleet grows

Wasn’t sure if I should post this in the beginners section, or here, seeing it’s been so long since I posted Things have been exciting and busy in our house hold, so the 4WD’N has taken a bit of a back seat. We are expecting chidlet number 3 in November, so there has been a bit of a brake on the spen ...

My First season last year, on a friends farm in Mayfield, Just crept down to the pond on a couple of different occasions, I might have to go down before this season, and do a bit of prep, last season we had an old Maimai and decoys to use, but the creek changed course, and they wouldn't land on it ...

Hi dazza85, I can get you the part number for just the top seal if you want it, otherwise if you want to continue with a whole kit I would get the box out, and take it in to a specialist. I haven't done one myself, but from what I've heard, they can be a bit of a nightmare Just give me a shout if ...

Yip, your on the right track, I usually split the ball joint first, takes the tension off the arm that way, big socket to undo those two big bolt heads you mention, (they are threaded into a plate on the other side that goes across the two bolts, so you wont need anything to hold the inside. You ...

ooh, bugger The old bushes have to be pressed out. and new ones pressed in. Hope your wallet isn't to empty after Xmas, mine is, hence the second hand arm, was $65.00 + GST from a local CHCH wrecker, the nolathane bush kit was over $200 the last time I priced it, but that is for both sides of course ...

Did a bit of work seeing it's WOF time again. Found this http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f238/billyvan/Isuzu%20workshop/910d0029.jpg It was a second hand top arm, that I put in about a year ago, and it seems to have lost a nut off one end, that has allowed the bush inner sleeve to work it's way ...
