Just popped the bonnet in my Terrano and noticed a slight oil leak. See attached photos. It’s coming out of the small hose with foam around it going in the the bowl in the photo. Any ideas what this is from and if still ok to drive for few days until get it fixed
Cheers in advance

Nissan Terrano Overheating
Hi guys. I have a Nissan Terrano which got an engine transplant just over 12 months ago. It has been running great ever since apart from one issue. It starts to overheat on slow steep climbs. This happened 12 months ago climbing a shingle track. Approx 20 mins steepish climb doing between 15-30km ...

97 R3m lower inner suspension bushes
My truck just failed wof on lower inner suspension bushes. I bought the bushes today and am planning to replace these myself to save a few bucks. Is this a big job? Is it difficult to remove the control arm and does cv joint get in way. If stuck I will get someone to press out the bushes but looking ...

Re: Nissan Terrano R3m Starter problem
Thanks for the info. I'll swap the starters and hopefully solve the problemCrash bandicoot wrote:They are all 12 volt. Go for gold And yes typical starter issues. Best way to get to bolts is a 1/4 inch ratchet and extension and go in under The wheel arch. And invest in some ratcheting ring spanners if ya havent already.

Nissan Terrano R3m Starter problem
Bit of advice needed. I posted a few weeks back that my Terrano blew up in style and I found a rolled Terrano and was planning to do an engine swap. Some people were saying to stay away from the rolled engine and other though it might be ok. Anyway engine is and and its running like a dream (fingers ...

Re: Rolled Nissan terrano R3m
Walk/Run away! Put it at the bottom of your list of possibles. Unless you can hear it start from cold don't buy it. If you can't get to start it from cold, or the nice mechanic selling the rolled wagon, then its most likely going to be more trouble than its worth. If you really must buy this one ...

Rolled Nissan terrano R3m
I posted last week how my terrano suffered engine over run. What a sight it was closing 4 lanes of traffic plus I only owned it 6 weeks. I had a tough decision to make, get another truck around 6-8k which I can't really afford or engine replacement. I found a terrano on trademe (insurance right-off ...

Re: Ball park figure to replace turbo on Terrano
What engine was it mate 2.7 3.0 or 3.2 ? 3.2. Got confirmation Monday it was a right-off. Previous own put an electric pump on. Mechanic thinks they would have been having problems starting it cause pump was in way out and this is a cheap fix. Seems the electric pump was pumping full time so engine ...

Ball park figure to replace turbo on Terrano
Driving home today and suddenly the car started to rev excessively. I then couldn't get the car stopped. It reved flat out for about 2 mins until suddenly it stopped. The smoke stopped 4 lanes of traffic. I have just got it towed to my mechanic for him to look at Monday. It has sprayed some oil ...

I was in no mans land so started it again and drove it about a km. It drove fine with no smoke as if ...

97 Terrano G3M body lift
I am looking to lift my 97 terrano. Nothing it. May 1-2 inch. I have read about about adjusting the torsion bars. I had a look under and can seem to find them. Am I right in thinking these models don't have them or am I being stupid.

97 terrano door sag
I posted this the other day but I think it was in the wrong topic area. Bought a 97 terrano and the driver door has sag. Bushes must be gone. On this model it's not possible to but a bushing kit and pin as the hinge is all one. Cockram nissan Christchurch has quoted $115 per hinge.this seems crazy ...

Re: HELP NEEDED Nissan Terrano door bushes
Is it a WD21? images.jpg Or an R50? images (1).jpg If it's the former bushes and pins are listed on Trademe, cheapies and genuine Nissan The latter I'm pretty sure don't have replacable bushes so you'll need to buy the whole hinge assemblies Thanks. It's the R50 model. I wonder is it possible to ...
