Yikes!

Hi Mike, looks like a good trip! Our club has a trip to Macetown next Sunday, thought I'd take a look and see what the river looked like this afternoon. 6" of ice on the first river crossing, so goodness knows what it's like further up the river. The Skippers trip is very worthwhile, if you are going past the Schoolhouse into Bullendale, make sure you're with someone else, and both have recovery gear.

Re Macetown: The river is very low at the moment, there's been bugger all rain here for ages, but beware - the low river levels have revealed some rather deep goolies that you would normally keep clear of, towed a Surf out last Fri night, and there have been a few vehicles drowned recently. Get out ...

How to post pics
Righto then, I can't understand the procedure for adding pics to posts.
What's with all the URL stuff, other sites just get you to go to the appropiate place on your computer, and click upload.
And it works.
Why do I have to be a Brain Surgeon for this site?

Well, finally got my snorkel fitted, and thanks to all for your comments and suggestions. Took probably about 4 hours, but most of that was fitting and unfitting multiple times to check that I could finally fit it properly once the sealant had been gobbed on. Had to open up a few mounting holes here ...

Thanks Mudbum for your reply. I've had a closer look now, and you are right about the template. It would appear the large 76mm hole is in the correct place (is that right)?. But the mounting points don't match those on the snorkel. Not a major, but very slack on Airflow's part. The most difficult ...

Fitting a Airflow Snorkel to Safari
Finally, got myself a SWB Safari.
Bought a Airflow Snorkel, is there any advice to heed from those who have fitted one to their Safari before I make a complete jock up of the job?
Had a quick look at the instructions, it appears that the guard has to come off first.
