Hi there Leighton. I am in Foxton. I have been looking around for some places to go for a skid in this area. Havent found anything worthwhile yet. My vehicle is a series 1 landrover with a 350 chev, cruiser diffs, etc. It will be in for a rebuild soon as needs one badly. My old club will be at ...

A couple of years ago the army was testing the hummer in there. They managed to find a mudhole that the hummer sank in up to its windscreen. This could be a good hole to find for someone to play in.

I think rangerover diffs + suspension, rover 3.5 litre V8 and matching auto with a remote mounted transfer box. It should then go quite well.

If This is a 1955 series 1 then it would be an 86 inch wheelbase. My series 1 is a 1956 swb and that was originally an 86 inch.

Looks good. Nice width. Will this be going for rallywoods? I will be looking forward to seeing this vehicle. I am wrecking a aussie 6cyl 109 series 2a so if you need any panels etc let me know. It will be good to see another well modded Landrover out and about.

I will try to be down for this trip. Just a bit expensive to drive as I just about have to stop at every servo on the way. Hope Turoa dont show me up if the 350 continues its current habit of losing its cool all the time.

I have had a lot of fun in rallywoods in the past. Its been a couple of years since i have been in there though. Some good and amusing tracks to play on. I have a photo of my vehicle halfway up the slide with a busted rear diff. Really amusing stuck halfway up there with the vehicle locked solid. If ...

Yes it is a spring over.

This machine has striped down landrover springs in the front and custom made leaves in the back. All the springs are flat as that provides more suspension travel. Anti tramp bars are fitted in the back. I am looking for a set of landcruiser shocks for it at the moment as the ones in there are to ...

Just new here too.

This is my series 1 landrover. Not much landrover running gear left in this one. 350 Chev, TH350 Auto, Landcruiser diffs, etc.
