Mark it isn't that difficult to sort you just have to make enough room to get a socket on rip out old bolt from underneath which gives you enough room to get cold chisel in to the rest of the captive nut holder off ,mine were frozen too , bout half hour per bolt to sort. I had thought about the steering damper so I took it off went for a drive and it still did it, I also thought it could be a problem with the valves in the power steering so I removed the p/s belt and it still did it, my shocks are only six months old and panhard has reasonably new nolathene bushes ...

Well I've taken both hubs , king pin bearings and axels completely apart cleaned and repacked with grease etc. The shims on the kingpins were half a mil on top and quarter of a mil on bottom of both so i've taken the bottoms out and replaced the top ones with them so have effectively taken quarter ...

Sorry guys have no idea where it came from as it was a car dealer that I brought my wagon off who supplied it for me. As for your light staying on thats a head scratcher , once I fitted new sensor the light disappeared and have had no probs since.

Yep sounds like oil pressure sensor , mine did it about a month after I brought it ,A new one isn't cheap either for what they are I payed $70 for a replacement genuine part .It should sit just on or afraction over 4 at 2100 rpm in top gear and 2.5 ish at idle, well mine does .

Thanks guys will be back in touch once springs are in .
Question though, today I took my winch and bullbar off to do a few adjustments and the wagon jumped up 25mm this would mean I will have to get springs to cope with weight as well as a 50mm lift yes/no.

Thankx guys. I thought there was not alot to it but I was told by the mechanic that does my WOF that I would have to change the front stablisers arm bushes to off set bushes, adjust brakes, wheel alignment etc. I think he may have just been trying to gain a bit of extra cash out of me.....maybe not ...
