Please, Has anyone done roll cage/ body bars for a 92 swb J top?

I just committed Harakiri, bought one for my 92 Soft top Pajero.
Can t see it fitting anywhere, any idea who the suppliers are ?
I bought mine off Trademe.

Got manual hubs in the front ... after market torsion bars & rear springs ... 35 inch Simex ...do u think the tyres are too big or hard on the truck ?

with 4wd Low & rear diff lock on, while going up a gradient my 92 J top 2.5 Diesel makes a lot of knuckling sounds, clanking in the front & the wheels spin & stop, judder, car jumps swheels spin.... I wonder whats wrong ... CVs or what do u reckon? Any ideas? please.

Mines a 92 Soft top 2.5 Diesel ... any ideas on a Snorkel ? Cheers!

I run 35s with the flip kit ...after market torsion bars & springs in the rear with a body lift kit supplied by "muzzaduck".

Yea ! I ve been often told to switch over ... I just wanna see what is the out come with the current setup ... the 7.50 18 measure up tp 35 inches !! ...yea its quite an experience so far ....

7.50R 18 .... just bought aftermarket rear springs & torsion bars. Already got a bodylift, BJ flip & now will work on the torsion bars & rear springs....very keen on sway bar disconnects.

What do u prefer Road Tyres with mud chains or just Mud Tyres ...which is better out of the two?

I picked up the original roll bars that come for a Soft top pajero ... My car did not have them. But could not find any holes ...so I presume they were introduced in ...

Hi ! anyone done any work on a roll over bar/roll cage for a soft top pajero? My car did not have one .... Any bright ideas ...suggestions?

Just to add. I reckon, manufacturers put in a lot into design & crash tests. I think the question of recovery for a stuck vehicle can be very well answered by the Tow hook fitted by a manufacturer. They are I m sure welded & set up in an appropriate way so that a vehicle could be recovered using ...

I simply cut the bolts in the front coz they were proving to be a pain...
