Portable ground anchor
Hi guys looking for something like a firma-grip ground anchor. are they still about or something locally made? Got a landcruiser , but mainly want to use it for jet boat recovery with a small petrol powered winch. hammering in pin type anchors work , but are slow and time consuming to reposition.

cv's look and feel ok , but thinking about replacing them as I don't want too have too pull hubs off again in the near future because of cv failure. waste of time and money replacing them if your cv's are still ok so long as they aren't worn and sloppy they'll be sweet , have a look at the splines ...

ARB Bars are airbag certified and should be ok, they will have a sticker on them or something and all your wof guy needs is to see proof of that. did the Toyota dealer tell you that or the ARB dealer? Maybe PM the ARB God (Badnuz) PS Delete your duplicate post At a arb dealer today, thought they ...

Looking at landtransport factsheet it appears to me the bullbars only have to be crash tested/comply on vehicles ...

How do the front lockers handle on terrain like going up Napoleon hill, where you've got power on but need to turn to stay out of the ruts? never had a problem, more worried about those spikes between the tunnels in the creek beds!!. You don't get all that wheel spin when you break traction, that ...

If you have a post 1992 cruiser you should have 16 inch rims to clear the calipers. Look for approx -19 to -24 offset.[/quote

can I ask why you want 16s
Rims hit brake caliper on rear , not by much, thought 16" would give the clearance needed. fronts ok.
