Anyone know the Internal ( Engine ) difference's between a 2JZ-GE & 2JZ-GTE ??? is the crank the same material & forging & what about the rods , etc ?? Obviously the pistons will be different & possible the camshaft profiles ,etc ??

spose any place will give you advise from their experience , way to attract more cust$mers ! I have nothing against them , good for parts ,etc but expensive . But that circumstance was a really weird one , never come across that in my life .

I'm looking around for a good 2nd hand transfer case for my 2LT & manual 89' LJ71 cruiser - mines friggn noisey . Will a transfer case off a prado with a 2LTe an Auto box bolt up to a manual box ( if i pulled it off the auto transmission & bolted it up the manual box ) or will this not work ???

How do you get really tight bends like a 50c coin sorta bend ,when you do it by hand? Only i can see it done is with a wee bender like 91Rangie's , have seen other hand bending tools around too, how would oyu bend stainless steel line's by hand then( alot stiffer than ally ) ?

same vehicle mines a 89' LJ71 , i got a slightly bigger bore , stock= 7/8 New one = 15/16 & it feels heaps better & stops harder , weird but true. Cost me $120 brand New from Butler Auto in sydenam , they ordered it in from AUK .

I bought a die grínder abrasive bit & used it in my power drill & just ground out a section of the outer race & popped it out with a punch ,worked a treat . cheers for the info !

Next time will get a puller , toledo make one especíally for the job that cost's around $70

i went to a wrecker in falsgrave st , chch yesterday . they have a good 2nd hand solid mass 3L ( 2.8 ) flywheel & complete clutch for $250 , 3L flywheel is sapposedly the same as the 2L/T flywheel ?
