Re: Tired tires

ciao all,Can not see it being a WOF issue as long as no sharp projections, structurally sound and guard flares enclose tires, this I have yet to do with strips of used conveyor belt material. Successfully completed the Cozzie Four Wheelers GLen Massey Safari last weekend. Slight rubbing on rear of ...

Need to sort some new tires as my current set are well worn 215-75R15 Hankook Dynamic MT. The donor car has a full set of original 16" factory rims with ...

Re: Niva fuel spillage

From empty the Niva fuel tank fills good up to about the half way and or three quarter marks. From there they tend to spit and splutters when filling. In the past at self service pumps I ask for a chair to sit on as it takes forever to fill it right up. The Niva fuel tank is mounted quite high in ...

Re: Hilift accidents - Pics

I tried two WACO branded ones from two seperate supplyers and both f@*#ed up. I tested them one after the other with a light to medium load. Both jammed in the rat shit mechanism. Would go up but not release to come down. I eventually settled for a 5' POWERBUILT around $100 which has worked safely ...

Re: Have you removed the swaybar on your offroader?

Of all the off road vehicles I have owned the sway bar has been removed or was prior to my ownership.Slightly more body roll on road and off the Pantry is good anyway. :)

To get a WOF the technician required it to be refitted.

Ciao Team, I took the 'shiny' 1998 3.1 Wizard MU in for a service yesterday. Have been informed the rear Gabriel gas shocks #91704 ,which I purchased locally and fitted myself not many 1000kms back, are leaking. What could have caused this? This may explain why the rear end suspension has always ...
