I was given a set of Nissan rims to try on my cruiser and they wouldn't clear the brake calipers.

Traditional steel "speedy" rims will fit. They are the cheapest "new" option. I have 15x8's on my '91 Cruiser.

The Manawatu and Pohangina Rivers have been getting higher the last couple of days. Just happened to be driving over the SH3 bridge near Ashhurst heading back to Palmy and the wife tells me there is someone stuck in the river. Thirsty buggers would be my opinion. No lack of power though, unlike the diesel Pajeros.

We have a 3.5 auto LWB. From memory it has an 80 odd litre tank and we get 600 maybe 700km out of it open road travelling. Around town it's a lot less.

Went to grease the cruiser today and could only find 4 grease nipples. Two on ends of each front and rear drive shaft. There must be more, but where?
