Woompha is away with work at the mo, but has asked me to thank you guys for the suggestions. He is keen to do something, but is still trying to decide what, and at what cost. We were hoping to stay with diesel, but i really like the sound of those commie v6's.

1987 Toyota Hilux LN65 Wrecking.

Vehicle has rolled.

2.4 non turbo, 194000kms, had 2nd hand head put on recently.

No diffs or deck.

When you go forward, they are great, but backwards not so great. They will throw the mud out when you are going forward, but do a bad job of throwing it out when going backward, due to the way the tread works.

Thats what happens with Tractors on the farm anyway( i live on a farm ).

would it work though? the 1.6 is a bit rooted and i want to keep the rocky so i thought id upgrade the engine what about a smaller daihatsu diesel engine? Anything is possible, just how much you want it, and how much your prepared to pay for it.. Personally, for a Rocky, i would stay with a petrol ...
