Disc in front drum in rear, just going to change front as the the indicators are starting to make a noise. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.

Brake pads????

I Have a '02 Mazda Bounty d/cab 4wd and need to replace the brake pads in it. What i am wanting to know is what brake pads would be best to use? It is my daily driver and gets used on the farm alot and see's a bit of 4x4 action. What pads would best suit my needs and be the best.

Was installing an airtec snorkel today and noticed that brfore the arifilter there is a box that comes off the pipe between the snorkel and airfilter. It is all factory. Was wanting to know what this is for??? I I disconect this and block off the pipe(hole) will increase performance any?? What are ...

Bounty tow hook????

Was wanting peoples opinion on the factory front tow hook on my '02 Mazda Bounty?
To me it looks rather strong, it has 2 bolts holding it on and another holding the front brace bit.

I have a Best bars tow bar on my truck and it has the titan hitch which is removable and you can fit other attachments. Best bars also sell attachments for them. So I brought the attachment they call the snatch hook. Basicly it fit into the titan hitch and it is made up to fit a shackle not supplied ...

So 3.2 is fine???
Have talked to a couple of mechanic's and shop rep's in town and they have said 3.2 tonne is to weak for what I want to do.
So my next question is will 4.7 tonne be big enough? Or do you still recon 3.2 tonne would still do?

I have e-mailed them and they say they do not hace a chip/unit for this vehicle. They even tell you this on ther website they don't make one for this truck because it has a mechanical fuel pump.

It is the turbo diesil model.
i have looked around New Zealand and no one sells them for bounty/ford 2.5 turbo diesils also tried a few websites.

Thanks Mike for posting reviews on the cooper stt's which helped me make my pick easier. I ended up going with 30's for the bounty. It came with 235/75R15 so 30's are 10mm bigger. Was going to go with 31's but I think I may have encountered a few problems?????Not sure. Anyway with 30's gearing stays ...

Well I have had my new Copper STT's on my ute for 2 weeks now and absolutly love them so far. Living down in Invercargill we get allot of rain so I can tell you that on road in the rain they are the best mud tyre I have had or driven on. I live in Invercargill. K&N stuff are not stocked they have to be ordered in.

Just wanting to know how people get when they increase there tyre size more than 5% As the rule I think is anything that increases the tyre size by more than 5% has to be certified. So what do people do to get around it? Or are there no problem, WOF inspectors are not that worried about it or don't ...

Yes I am wanting to run muds full time as I only want one set of tyre's. Do you think they will ping me for 31's????
