Could be the start of not knowing if the hubs are in or out,untill you look inside the hubs, do one more thing and remove the main hub bodys and check the carbons , may just need cleaning, (the slip ring / carbons), don't use mineral grease on the slip-ring use electrcial grease only. When ...

thanks for all the help and suggestions.. I jacked the rear wheels up and put put in drive to Look that front driveshaft turning .. and it was ... So i jacked up each front wheel i got nothing ... Took the front covers off the power hubs to have a look inside .. pretty clean in there . I looked and ...

yip drivers door .. looked untouched and broken just by general wear and door opening and closing .. so could be a fault to eventualy pop up in others

If you've got an oil leak in the gearbox to fix you might be wanting to get that sorted before you stick the new motor back in? Have you got and engine hoist and all that stuff to lift the engine out? Heya Im picking up a crane up on friday ... Im not sure if i have some kind of chain around yet ...

thanks for the replys... I rang ingums and he can have a look for me when i get a chance to swing by His rough quote for a pair of springs was $350 However i should be able to get away with one reset as the other side is still standing tall , i tried searching yellow pages and google for a j.d ...

It wouldnt hurt to check out the price of OME springs from grant guy if your spending that sort of money for a reset, I think I paid about $200 each for my front ones a few years back, they were the dakkar ones made in Mayalisa not the origional Aussie made ones thanks for suggestion... New springs ...

Bed spacers can be thought of as "overload supports" as they only come into play when heavy, non-rigid loads are carried in the bed... so will i need a block or spacer in there of any sort to have body-lift safe and be ...

Had a look at the body-lift in my doner vehicle ... all but two body blocks are Bolted on and the other two are welded these are located Middle of the rear tyres (but on the chassis oviously) then looked at my cruiser at the standard mounts looked like just a rubber spacer ...

I did manage to find a cable ..

when i did my 70 I did a 2inch,i used 2 inch blocks on top off the factory rubbers..,we had to modify the gear lever holes and cut the bottom off the rad shroud, other than that everything still fitted/reached (starter cable was a bit tight as was the clutch line- but that was with a 13bt not a ...
