Na, ended up getting a free carb kit and giving it a bloody good overhaul, still have the webber there... maybe when i run out of things to fix or mod on the ol' girl.

Anyone done this?? can get my hands on a manifold adaptor plate here in CHCH, but not sure if it is a good idea, the carb is off a 2lt cortina.

Very Late update... Managed to get a full set of springs ex USA with shocks bushes etc nice and cheap with extra money left to throw at a set of 33 muddies, extended the brake lines, and have no probs with steering. Thanks to searching the forums i found it a piece of cake to do myself.. looks nice ...
