Help! Your opinions please...

I have a Terrano which needs new 31" tyres. Most of my driving is on the road, but when i go offroad, I generally go through bogs and greasy clay stuff so I want a pattern that is reasonably open. I did loads of reading, and was all set to get a set of Goodyear MT/R's as there is so many people here ...

I've had both petrol and Diesel Terranos. I sold my V6 petrol one because I'm cheap and it was thirsty to run. I have recently purchased a Diesel, which is standard so far. The Diesel goes well but is reasonably tame in terms of power. For road running I'd choose the Diesel for economy, for ...

Buy the one you like driving on the road the most.

I'd agree with that comment. Go for a drive in each of them, and see which one you like for the type of driving you do. After all, it's you who has to drive it every day

hear the sr20 have a problem with the heads ( rocker's or something ) once you modify them ! If you are considering that as an option, check out someof the drifting sites (D1NZ etc) as there are a few of those guys using high HP SR20's, so if there was an issue with the heads, I'm sure they will ...

That sucks, but if you look at any number of car door locks, they aren't that tricky to get into with a bit of brute force. Stuff a screwdriver, knife etc into the lock and lever it up or in some cases down and it has the same effect as turning the key, just pops the lock. Had it happen a couple of ...

Well, fair enough. For what it's worth, my terrano has done 220000 ks and is still going well. If you look at terranos though, check for rust under the rear seat around the seatbelt bolt holes. A common problem with terranos, which I am told is expensive to fix once it has set in...

Hi Mat, Welcome! although I have to say "now you've done it". I'm a newbie here too, but if there is one thing I've learnt here, it's that the nissan vs toyota debate rages strong. It could go on for days. I have a terrano, I like it, but if I were you I'd keep the vitara as well as getting another ...

At some point or other, we were all newbies. Hell, I am one still and expect to be one for ever...... Ask Wopass or Jezza......... However, I guess I am your closest point of contact. I am in PN occaisionally on business or pleasure fairly often, leave contact details and will stop and buy you a ...

Hi Everybody, I'm something of a newbie to all this 4wding. I had a V6 terrano a coupleof years back, and loved it, but couldn't afford the yanker required to keep it in gas, so I ended up selling it on. I'd taken it for a play in the mud once or twice, drowned the gearbox, wrecking it completely ...
